Snoqualmie Falls engagement – Keith & Tiffany

Tiffany and Keith got married this past weekend, so I figured their engagement session was overdue for a post! They chose a Snoqualmie Falls engagement session because it is a special place for them both. This is where Keith proposed. Of course, Snoqualmie Falls is also one of Washington’s many gorgeous landmarks! I mean, who wouldn’t want a giant waterfall as the backdrop for their engagement photos?

We got some nice shots in the manicured areas above the falls, and of course, the obligatory photo at the overlook. Sadly, Keith’s poor injured foot kept us from making the long trek down (and back up) to see the falls up close and personal, but we were able to walk down a ways and take pictures along the upper trail in the woods. Besides, I hear you get pretty soaked if you get too close anyway!

I look forward to sharing photos from their wedding! Hopefully sooner than later. This has been one busy Summer!

Be sure to read about their love story below the photos!

Their story in their own words:

  • How did you first meet? Who, what, when, where, and why? Give me the dirty details! Well, keep it PG-13. šŸ˜‰

Tiffany: Keith and I met while I was working at a cafƩ. He used to come in M-F sometime between 12-2 with his worker buddies. I always made sure that I was at the cashier whenever he came in to order a drink. From there I developed a crush. I always told myself nothing would ever happen between us. Little did I know.

  • If you feel comfortable, please tell a funny story that happened while you were dating.

Keith: Tiffany and I are 12 years apart. When my brother Sean found out, he suggested that I get her a sippy cup for our next date.

Tiffany: To this day, I still donā€™t own a sippy cup. šŸ™‚

  • When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something that he/she did or said?

Tiffany: When Keith told me he loved me. I knew that I wanted to marry him. It was our first Thanksgiving together and we had just survived celebrating it with both our families.

Keith: She went out with me. šŸ™‚Ā Only kidding. Watching her play with my son, I knew we would always be a family.

  • Tell the story of the proposal.

Tiffany: Keith proposed at Snoqualmie Falls. This is where we shared our first kiss and it was our 1 year anniversary and we knew that was where we wanted to be. Right before dinner we went to the observation deck to look at the falls. He walked around trying to find a perfect spot, I didnā€™t know why. Finally, he found a spot where no one was around and pulled out a blue box. I knew. I fumbled with the ribbon and box, unaware that Keith had gotten down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Then I said, ā€œAre you sure?ā€ Words Iā€™m sure he didnā€™t anticipate after asking me to marry him.

Keith: Little did she know, I had already asked her fatherā€™s permission to marry her 4-5 months prior.

Tiffany: I was shocked to know that both our mothers kept it a secret for so long.

  • What do you love about your engagement shoot locations(s)?

Tiffany: Itā€™s where we shared the first of many things: first kiss, first anniversary and where he proposed.Ā šŸ™‚
