A historical destination wedding

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, but hopefully I make it up with this awesome one! This lucky Seattle wedding photographer got to travel to Missouri to shoot a beautiful, historical, destination wedding! Missouri doesn’t seem like a destination wedding kind of place, you say? Well maybe not, but this beautiful historical farmhouse sure was a destination for lots of friends and family coming from far and wide. Officially on the National Historic Register of Historic Places, it did not disappoint! The outside was surrounded by soybean fields and painstakingly decorated during the Midwest heat. The inside was quaint and charming; a perfect setting for photos!
Not only was the setting beautiful, but Emily, the bride who’s family owns the farm, was gorgeous. She had a genuine shining smile all day long. And her groom couldn’t have been happier to make her his bride. Photographing such a sweet couple is always a pleasure for me. And they know how to throw a party! This wedding was complete with a high-fiving cake topper, stick-on mustaches, more conga lines than I’ve ever seen in one night, a cap-gun send off, and a marching band (although that was a surprise for the couple)! Oh, and an adorable little ring-bearer who I swear was channeling Michael Jackson with his serious moves. Such a fun night with a fun couple.

    Catherine McAdams - Tracie,
We feel very honored and SO LUCKY that you flew all the way to our Missouri farm to shoot our daughter’s wedding! Your photos are absolutely amazing! We couldn’t be happier! You were so calm, composed, ALWAYS pleasant and accommodating throughout the entire afternoon and evening. VERY professional. You covered every detail with so much going on. We are truly grateful!! We worked extremely hard all summer to create a beautiful farm wedding with a touch of elegance but your photos capture the magic..and the dreams… that happened that evening… a true fairy tale wedding beyond our wildest dreams!!! We are touched by your beautifully written, heartfelt introduction and artistic collage of photos. We love you Tracie and give you
5 stars! We recommend highly Tracie Howe as your photographer of choice!ReplyCancel

traciehowe - Mary, I couldn’t think of a funny quote to respond with, but here’s a sentimental one by Bon Jovi: “If you could see yourself like others do, you’d wish you were as beautiful as you”. In every way! I could never have done ANY of it without you.ReplyCancel
